La Favorita: August 8 & 10, 2025

Concert Opera of Greater Chicago presents G. Donizetti's masterpiece, La Favorita.  Opera in four acts to be performed in concert version with English supertitles.

Cast: Paula Schaefgen, mezzo-soprano (Leonora); Alain Arvelo, tenor (Fernando); Aaron Wardell, baritone (Alfonso, King of Castile); Alvaro Ramirez, bass (Baldassarre); Marilyn Maurer, soprano (Ines), Christopher Jackson, tenor (Don Gasparo). 

The  COGC chorus and orchestra will be conducted by Maestro William Intriligator.  

Performances on Friday, August 8 at 7 pm & Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 2 pm.

Venue: Gorton Center, 400 E. Illinois Road in Lake Forest, Illinois 60045.
